DPA Makes Forum "Freedom of Speech" Pledge

The DPA cites the UAL shutdown of their forum and ties that to Freedom of Speech.

As usual, they neglect to mention that the shutdown was due to a COURT ORDER and not censorship. Cutting off communication is not an accepted practice, it's what happens when a judge slaps an injunction on you.

The DPA forum recognizes this fact as it contains the very same language from the Delta injunction and includes this curious statement:

ALL DPA MEMBERS SHOULD ENCOURAGE FELLOW DELTA PILOTS TO QUICKLY SEND IN THEIR CARDS AND GAIN ACCESS TO OUR ORGANIZATION.
Once again implying that you NEED to sign a card to gain access to the site. What's on the site you might ask? There's a forum full of guys complaining how they can no longer use Delta printers to print DPA material in the lounge and complaining about the time that Tim Caplinger invited and gave a login to Richard Anderson, our CEO.

Yup.

The DPA also organized a "radio silence" campaign on the ALPA forum for a short time and then recognized it was their best recruiting tool and went back to work making it a place no one wants to visit. You aren't' missing a thing by not signing a card as there is nothing on the website to see worth your time.
