A non-union union?

DPA Watch has been investigating various claims that are made by the DPA and against the DPA. One of these involves the use of union companies and products.

The DPA makes many claims against some of the expenditures that are made by ALPA. ALPA is a member of the AFL-CIO and has a Union Made policy in place. Some of these costs are due to a policy requiring your dues go through a union organized business. Your dues create and keep union jobs.

Did you know the bag tags, lanyards, stickers, shirts and other products the DPA gives out are not union produced?

ALPA uses a union sanctioned business for all it's member provided products and union hotels for all it's business meetings.

We guess the DPA is outsourcing more than just the pilot's union.
